Laundromat
It was a shade of plum. Or maybe mulberry? Anyway, it was a deep, dark color, and it was streaked all over his whites: sweat socks, T-shirts, underwear. How that lipstick got in the dryer to begin with, I don’t know, but when it melted… Well, we all saw the result. That’s why before I use a dryer, I always stick my head inside it and take a thorough look around.
