Adelaide B. Shaw
What’s the Score?
I play Wordle. Wake up the little gray cells. Get them moving. That and strong coffee to start the day. Part of my routine now. This game. This entertainment. This time filler. Sometimes I get it on the second word. Applause. Applause. Sometimes, on the sixth word. Slow, but still a winner. And, sometimes not at all. Game lost. Hang my head and wait for the morrow and a new game. There’s always a new game, a new chance to win.
my game of life
a competition with no one
but myself
some winnings, some losses
but still playing till the end
