I have been a royal fan since the day I saw her coronation live on TV. On that hot memorable day, she waved from her royal coach in Westminster to me personally at my childhood home in Wisconsin. I feel obliged to know everything that is relevant to Her Majesty. Recently Buckingham Palace resources have revealed that, despite rumors, she still carries the seven essentials in her classic black Launer handbag. These items include reading glasses, a white embroidered handkerchief, a packet of mints for breath control, a fountain pen, small oval mirror, and of course the small metal makeup case given to her as a gift from Prince Philip.
