Pitto
The seven-pointed star, each a day leading toward creation. The Saptarishi and the Pleiades, the seven-branched lamps and Jesus’ seven sayings. The seven colours of the rainbow, different but one, while our seven look-alikes roam the world, the one turned into many. The wonder in one number.

Note: Pitto is a popular outdoor game in India. Two teams take turns throwing a ball at a pile of stones; when one team succeeds in knocking down the pile, its members must try to restore the stones while the other team tries to hit each of them before the pile is successfully reconstructed.
