fourteen and reading i thank you god for most this amazing day for the first time & it is so tonguely delicious, so hymnly anarchic, i recite it on my philips reel to reel recorder & like thelonious the newness of it drips golden into the deep gullies of my ears, the flaunting of case & space resonating with private, nervous rebellion against the harsh & adult world, & i feel privileged mr cummings e.e. to be lifted from the no of all nothing & reading your poems, for which i thank u most amazingly

About the Author
Norman Silver was born in South Africa but has lived in the U.K. for over fifty years. His published work includes several novels and poetry books for teenagers and children. After a visit to Japan, he became fascinated by short-form poetry and began writing haiku and, more recently, haibun.
