Changing Seasons

Deciduous trees are a mass of red, yellow and bronze. I’m pushing Mum in her wheelchair between beds of pink dahlias and white chrysanthemums scattering leaves, lines of scurrying pin-dot ants and wafting flower scents. She sighs.
