Becoming
It’s a title I took on a few months ago, not quite knowing what it would fully entail. So in those in-between moments, while walking past nasturtiums on my way to work or writing poetry on the back of receipts, I forget I am a mother.

Debbi Antebi lives with her husband and daughter in London, England, where she works as a college counselor. A member of the British Haiku Society and the Haiku Society of America, she has had work appearing in a wide range of international journals and anthologies. She can be found @debbisland.
This is lovely, the prose flows beautifully into the haiku.
I really like the phrase, “in between moments.” It is there that inspiration is often lurking. Lovely haibun.
