Anna Cates
Cryonic
At the Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona, over 170 people lie frozen in stainless steel tanks of liquid nitrogen . . .
He dwells in the clouds of his dreams
In a place between sleeping and waking.
Heartbeat silenced as the stillness screams,
He dwells in the clouds of his dreams.
An endless day moon affixes its beam . . .
He reaches an acme, like Icarus, rising.
He dwells in the clouds of his dreams,
Frozen between sleeping and waking . . .
after the war
the long trek home
one tiny twinkle
cosmic relativity
might as well be forever
