Thick as a Brick

The hot air pulses, a living thing, stifling the shadows in my shuttered room. Downstairs, the sound of my parents yelling, a crash, then cursing. I flip the Jethro Tull album on my turntable, crank the volume, shout out words of the song. Anything to make the world go away.

  1. This one jogged my memory. Eric Burdon and the Animals, We gotta Get Out of This Place. i think the music only made them crazier.
