A new journal for haibun and tanka prose, drifting-sands-haibun, has launched. Edited by Richard Grahn (whose tanka prose piece In the Fields of Forever can be found in this issue of cho), it is open to all English-language and tanka prose poets. Click here to read the first issue.
The third edition of The Haibun Journal is now out. Editor and publisher Sean O’Connor, along with assistant editors Amanda Bell, Paul Bregazzi, and Kim Richardson, selected 28 haibun from contributors around the globe The issue also features one of O’Connor’s essays, “Haiku Rhythm and the Arches of Makudo.” Click here for submission guidelines and ordering information.
