Flightless

I’ve made her mad. I’m not even sure how. Years later, I will paper over her frustration with a map of possible reasons: not enough sleep, not enough money, not enough time for herself, issues with her own mother, Dad’s failure to do any number of things. But for now, it’s my fault.
