P.H. Fischer
Oh, the Places!
Despite her advanced age, our Zoom presenter hawks the wonders of the future. Virtual reality, artificial intelligence, the internet of things, autonomous vehicles, delivery of blood by drones, and 3D bio-printed organs. Sharing her screen, we see a freshly manufactured heart ready for implantation. A life-extender! I push aside the plate of pasta I’m eating.
She pulls back her greying hair and dons a pair of VR goggles. These lenses are already helping adventure seekers in many nursing homes. The Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Times Square. Seniors are fulfilling wishes from the comfort of their beds and armchairs. What’s unchecked on your bucket list?
