Your fingers stray across my skin: a tentative bay breeze, fluttering then dying. Moored in the bay of indifference I side with the current, my back to the storm.

Mindfully, we dart and swoop; two yachts on the harbour carefully avoiding collision.

sutured with silence
unseen wounds bleed into dawn
