Awakening

Near the ruins of Chichen Itza, the humid air of the lush tropical jungle resembles a snowstorm as millions of white-lined Sphinx moths spin and flutter through the light of a full moon. With darkness the flowers of the plumeria trees release a strong aroma that is mistaken for nectar, causing the hungry insects to frantically pollinate. The erotic scents of jasmine, gardenia, and citrus also awaken our carnal desires and saturate our embraces.
