Joanna Delalande & Oscar Luparia
Song of the Season
April breeze leading my gaze to the right place
In the spring quietness, I look at a tree in blossom. It has always been growing here, behind a high fence, almost imperceptible to hurrying passers-by. But now it seems to open the umbrella of beauty: a moment of silence and delight with myriad little flowers above my head, a subtle scent moving in the air. The morning rain decorated some petals with shiny droplets that now fall on my face, like gentle tears of this world.
Among white corollas I can see few small red buds; what will they become, colored leaves or new florets? Trying to find a special corner in the awakening of nature as we do for our dreams… Nothing lasts, but spring notes always return year after year.
singing birds— a spark resurrects the cheerfulness of a time
