Jubilation

My brother, the Presbyterian minister, always calls to say I should visit Dad’s nursing home more often, or at least volunteer for the homeless Easter dinner crew. Now he’s asking me to go to a special meeting the Altar Guild is holding next week to elect a new director, now that Mable’s passed on.



Yeah, what the hell. The Internet’s down, my calico’s pacing the windowsills, and I’m out of Premarin. Guess I’ll drop in and share a good dose of the head cold I’ve been keeping from these Pollyannas.
