You go out at 5 am in winter. Not because you have a dog. Not because you have some job to do. Not because you cannot wait for two hours more to light a cigarette (you again forgot to buy some).
You go out for the first sip of air. The deceptive aroma of spring makes you smile – at the homeless dog, at the tramp that comes out of the waste bin, at the sleepy shop assistant in the 24/7 shop.
