Fourteen Lines
'...as waves make towards the pebbled shore...'
I'm reading Shakespeare's sonnets by the sea.
They tell of our lives' brevity.
'...action no stronger than a flower?'
'Holds in perfection but a little moment...'
Catch it, in span of a breath-one verse,
As small seeds in the breeze disperse,
'My true image pictured', each syllable in ferment.
