Windsurfers
In this light of leaden clouds and humid air everything else takes on the intensity of colour— like the orange buoy burning at the harbour's entrance, the cruise liner "Dawn Princess" coming into berth, the gulls flash of brilliant white from the crook of a swell— but mostly the windsurfers' sails that weave and intersect a palette of primary colours over mercurial water. In the wind's soft strokes they slice through the silken net of drizzle across the bay.
