Colorblind
Though red, the safron's stigma leaves a yellow dye. One or two of my primary students at the private school I taught at in Ankara would furtively pour the wrong colored ink into my board pens so that a pen with a red cap would write in blue. And this gave me the idea to fill each pen with more than one color. And it meant that, as I wrote, the color would constantly evolve and the students would remain transfixed till the very last letter of each word.
