False Alarm
Looking at used cars in a dealer’s lot, I spot a beauty of a sports car. Drawn to it like a magnet, I head straight for it. After inspecting the car the way a jeweler would appraise a diamond for imperfections, I open the door and sit in the driver’s seat. I can just picture myself driving it around town and on country roads, a thought which jolts me back to reality. It dawns on me that I could become one of those old guys in a young person’s car. I get out of the car slowly, and leave the lot in my sedan.
