Yard Sale


Windows with curtains that had long been closed are now drawn apart and look out on the yard sale. Saturday morning regulars browse the belongings seeking cheap finds, while those who knew her somberly move about with an occasional glint of recognition. All have come to pick the past, but for some it is the hope of finding a treasure that will secure a memory.
