The Shadow of Things

Early Sunday I’m sitting in the Mammography Clinic in a doublewide chair meant for a very large person or for two skinny teens. On the radio, a man announced another videoed beheading as I arrived. Elizabethans used to flock to public executions like they flocked to the Elevation of the Host.

following me
