Natural backdrop. A spider's web. Sway of birch leaves. Rise of the spire above the churchyard as mist drifts off. Behind me the knitting women gather. They exchange tales of how they learned to knit, from mothers, aunties, grandmothers, the more skilled and experienced encouraging the others. The spider clambers up and down his threads.
