Holding Fast


Late winter and I am leaning into my life, leaning to catch a glimpse of that flat blue line, to see just how far sea and sky extend.

look again a cloud blossoms out of thin air

In Tohoku, the camellias have bloomed, a sudden shock of red and white. At the shrine, the camphor tree's gnarled roots reach for new saplings.
