Two Earphones

I needed a break. There were these troubling thoughts in my head, and I thought 'I should silence them up with some music,' as I rolled the two earphones between my fingers.

Their wires were tangled at their centres looking like the helix of a DNA. All I had to do was to open up the two loops. But my hands ruled by their own mind made the two loops four, four loops eight, till the last loop loopable tightened around the tips of my fingers which looked red, as if flying a kite.
