Royalty

In the end, would it have been better if I had not gone to Communist Romania for her? But I was unable to sit and wait for my mother's extrication after her stroke. Her right side paralysed, she could only crawl, as perhaps one day I shall. Foreigners found her. They checked her insurance and when her address said "Penthouse, Palace Building" seem to have mistaken her for a slumming distant cousin of the Queen Mum. Not knowing that our movie houses were called Picture Palaces. And that she lived in one.
