An Update on the Class War

Having a maid has made me productive. I don’t want her to think I’m a slob, so before she arrives, I wash the dishes, make the bed, rinse out the cup I keep my toothbrush in, and sweep the porch.

first ray of light a feather clings to the bottom of my shoe

And every day she sweeps the porch, rinses out the cup I keep my toothbrush in, remakes the bed, and inspects the glasses before she puts them away.
