Peace Flame

i follow their progress; travel with them vicariously through the aid of newspaper articles, internet postings. they have journeyed by boat from Japan to San Francisco, then walked eastward across the western lands of this country to Trinity, New Mexico, where upon occasion people are allowed to walk through the outer gate, then the inner gate to ground zero where there is a stone obelisk . . .

with three Monks
to Trinity . . .
Embers of Hiroshima
kindle the flame in their lantern


Note: Trinity, New Mexico, is where the first atomic bomb was test detonated on July 16, 1945.
