He always indulges me, and today is no exception. As I identify wildflowers for a project, and take multiple images of the same species, he is patient.We've covered this ground before, but there is almost something surreal in the beauty of the hillside.

It's breezy, and he holds my hair back while I crouch to get a better look at a plant.He leans forward to ask a question he has asked many times before, but today, something is different in the air, and my answer, for the first time, is the one he wants to hear.
