Letting Go

Early dusk. A cooling breeze and the deep green of summer trees. The occasional plop of a pine cone falling. The soothing call of mourning doves.

Slowly...ever so slowly...the cares of the day fade into manageable proportions. Limbs and mind relax, and fresh plans for tomorrow form. Not insurmountable, after all.
