Internal Conflict

I am not sure how a ‘Roman Holiday’ kind of outing can be out of reach for celebrities and the privileged. Don’t humans always enjoy the privilege of choice?

the house dog
and street dog barking
at each other
on either side of a gate
who’s envious of whom?

  1. Hello slumitra

You have captured the art of Tanka Prose so very well, where the Tanka takes over the limelight and shines while the prose suports and energizes the poem.

My family is now enjoying your new book “Romance the Breath” as I was chose your book.

Some quick highlights: ” seeing myself in everyone else-the ever whispering teacher–unconditional friend, find yourself in each breath” I loved every single poem, and it is inspiriting to the point one can read them daily. I also like the many concepts for each day and happiness. I love the poem the sun as the photographer. All of the poems are compassionate and musical in a special way.
