Mystery
The Magic Roundabout, how I loved the jigsaw of all the characters. Ermintrude with her pink body and blue hat, Brian the Snail with his long slow speech, Zebedee’s chatter from his box, and Dougal’s long fur that trailed to the ground. These are the ones that stick in my mind as I recall my tiny fingers moving the chunky pieces into place. At some point, Dougal went missing and to this day he has never been found. I stare with sadness at the hole in the jigsaw, the incompleteness of the fun.
