A well-worn track runs alongside the river. Several gates later and you enter a copse of trees. The river is always with you. The slow push of water over rocks, pulling a palette of sky with it. The trees grow thicker, buffering the road on the other side. I stand here listening to the wind, the leaves, the river, the birds, my own breath. No-one else is here, even my thoughts disperse.
