Watershed
It’s raining again, fat drops splat and burst against the pane.
The grey wall outside the window blurs.
My world closes in.
Just you and me between four white walls,
waiting…
the stifling air
beside your narrow bed…
in all directions
whispers undecipherable
like the rustling leaves
