The sewing machine was never used. Everything hand-stitched though night after night. Some people called her the black widow spider. How cruel folks can be. Those who laughed at her. Said she had lost the plot as well as mislaying so many needles. Even then. 

a seed pearl hanging
by a thread 
tarnished thimble
