The Sugar Plum Fairy would seem every small girl's favourite but I prefer the one who led the prince through the forest to wake the princess from her century of sleep. She broke the witch's curse of death, transformed it to a hundred years of gentle slumber, knowing it was that prince's destiny to bring the counter magic to fulfilment with his kiss and that they would all live in the palace happily ever after.
