Monologue in the Bar


He appears quite shy and nondescript but, after the third glass, barges into somebody else’s conversation and amplifies another’s thoughts, before expressing his own, eventually at length until, over time, he monopolizes a fresh audience of strangers, while remaining unaware, as evening draws in, that he is still the one paying for the drinks.
