The prolonged blast announces a ship entering the harbor.  She is familiar with the routine. In several minutes, bells will begin clanging as the bridge opens. Whistles from the tugboats will join the chorus. Winding its way up river, the vessel will reach its dock. The crew will disperse to local bars. She is hesitant in selecting her heels and most revealing dress. Yet her rent is overdue and she is facing eviction…
