Amelia Fielden
Talking the Walk
strolling through
my village grounds
out the security gate
onto a short street
turn left, left again
another short street
hearing the waves
up the golf course slope
smelling the salt
there it is
the ocean
always the same
always different
private pleasures
to regulate and pass
lockdown days
greeting other dog walkers
checking out the surf
a small life for now
