We know clouds spoke in Kalidasa’s Meghaduta. I used to stand looking up at the Chennai skies as a child, searching and easily finding all that my imagination could put into words: horses, elephants, and chariots, all superimposed with migrating cranes that dotted the twilight sky. Clouds give inspiration, as they did for Michelangelo when he painted the father giving life to the son. They collide and waft in the summer sky, carrying my thoughts with them, higher than I could ever go.
