Reid Hepworth
On Second Thought
Being egged as I stagger home from a night of slam dancing at The Smiling Buddha is the icing on the cake when I realize I’ve lost my keys and can’t go home so instead do an about-face to my ex’s house only to have her roll her eyes and declare I smell like a brewery gone rancid and this no-way no-how is a booty call when all I want to do is sleep the sleep of the dead but I know she still has a thing for me so I say nothing cuz I know which side my bread is buttered on.
regrets I've had a few too many
