So much to see in the frame of his window. No need for new landscapes. He remains in his childscape of sky. Birds that fly through so swift that you miss them. Shifts in the shades of cerise and vermilion. Shifts in the cloud shapes from ogre to nymph. Shifts in the clarity. Sepia mist to roaring technicolour. Spaces in blue in parallel lines. He can now count five.
the stork that flew in
with a baby sister
petal after petal
blows in the wind
that rose garden scent
