Another cousin approaches, extending his hand. We chat for a few moments before he realizes I am not my older brother, and it occurs to me that he is not his younger.
“Anyway,” I say, “It’s good to see you. It’s been too long.”
He nods and agrees. “Just not under these circumstances.”
