Beth Wyckoff

Sometimes I feel a faint hope that there is more. That the chaos inside me is not all there is. Perhaps I can find something to fill the hole inside. Family and friends are wonderful, but I want more. I want something that never changes, never fails, never hurts. Could there be such a place? Such a person? Such a thing? Echoes of something never known reside within me. Perhaps… someday…

lonely quiet night
longings of a better life
lastly wanting home
