Never Ending Rains

raindrops . . .
drop on drops
in a puddle

"I refuse to go through a third pregnancy. What happens to all my dreams of pursuing my career? Two is a handful already, do you ever help out?" She whimpered. "In this godforsaken place, I can't even depend on a good maid. Yes, when have you agreed with anything I said? I can manage a servant—it's just that the work load is too much and nobody stays on.
"You stayed on! What a great sense of humor, really!"
