Barry White Is Dead

One ticket please; this time I’m not coming back. The departure lounge song is an unwelcome reminder of those spring nights around the pool, swimming under the Florida stars while the walrus of love crooned on the radio. I knew then that the good times would end, nothing lasts forever. My flight is delayed, the tannoy’s mocking tone a counterbalance to the rich soul of Barry’s vocals.
